The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union enshrines certain political,
social, and economic rights for European Union (EU) citizens and residents into EU law.

During the festival 'The Future of Europe' large printouts of the 54 articles as well as the preamble of the charter are presented.

Together with the visitors we do not only discuss and improve the various articles of the
charter but complement them by emancipatory and utopian phrases.

Constantly, the corrections are performed in different colours. So that the initial text
remains visible but depicts an outlook on a more human and sustainable Europe.
